Cho-wa is a Japanese word that means “harmony”. It is a state of being in balance and peace with oneself, others, and the world around us. Cho-wa is often associated with positive emotions such as happiness, contentment, and well-being. It is important to understand that Cho-wa is a journey, not a destination. It is something that we work towards every day. By practicing the certain activities, we can create more harmony in our lives and experience the many benefits that come with it. It is a powerful practice that can have a profound impact on your overall well-being.

Cho-Wa Supplements

Cho-wa is a dietary supplement sold by Kumato Labs. It is a powdered drink that is made from a blend of herbs and spices, including ginseng, ginkgo biloba, and licorice root. The company claims that Cho-wa can improve energy levels, boost the immune system, and help with weight loss. Here are some of the most popular CHO-WA supplements:

  • CHO-WA Original Tiger Shogun Formula: This is the flagship product of CHO-WA. It is a blend of traditional Japanese herbs that are said to help improve energy, focus, and overall health.
  • CHO-WA Ginseng Formula: This supplement is made with ginseng, an herb that has been used for centuries to improve energy, stamina, and mental clarity.

However, there is no scientific evidence to support these claims. In fact, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a warning letter to Kumato Labs, alleging that the company’s products are adulterated because they were prepared, packed, or held under conditions that do not meet the FDA’s current good manufacturing practice (cGMP) requirements.

Warning Letter by FDA

The FDA issued a warning letter to Kumato Labs on February 3, 2017. The warning letter was issued after an FDA inspection of Kumato Labs’ facility in Signal Hill, California, revealed serious violations of the FDA’s regulations for Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) in Manufacturing, Packaging, Labeling, or Holding Operations for Dietary Supplements.

The specific violations cited in the warning letter included:

  • Failure to establish and follow written procedures to fulfill the requirements related to product complaints.
  • Failure to establish and follow written procedures for the control of components and finished dietary supplements to ensure that they meet appropriate standards of identity, purity, strength, composition, and quality.
  • Failure to establish and follow written procedures for the production and processing of dietary supplements to ensure that they are manufactured under conditions that adequately protect the identity, quality, and purity of the dietary supplements.
  • Failure to establish and follow written procedures for the packaging and labeling of dietary supplements to ensure that they are properly identified, packaged, and labeled.
  • Failure to establish and follow written procedures for the holding of dietary supplements to ensure that they are stored under conditions that adequately protect their identity, quality, and purity.

The FDA’s warning letter to Kumato Labs is a serious matter. The violations cited in the warning letter could pose a risk to public health. Kumato Labs is required to take corrective action to address the violations cited in the warning letter and to prevent future violations.
